Brahmastra's first day (Friday) box office haul in Hindi was about 31 crore and 4.5 crore in other Indian languages. According to Box Office India, the all-India day one total of 35.75 crore makes it the greatest opening day ever for a non-holiday original Hindi film.

The second day numbers of "Brahmastra Part One: Shiva" remained at 85, taking the total collection to 160 crores, according to production banners Star Studios and Dharma Productions.

In a statement, the film's producers praised "Brahmastra Part One: Shiva" as "a large screen experience of all time and a complete family entertainer with action, romance, drama, and grand VFX for all age groups."

The movie, which was directed by Ayan Mukerji, reportedly had a huge $400 crore budget.

On his official Instagram page, Mukerji also posted the Day Two collections, which left him overcome. "Pyaar se bada koi, Brahmastra nahin hai duniya mein" (Love is the biggest Brahmastra in the world). He wrote, "Thank you to all of our audiences for bringing Love and Light to the movies this weekend.

The first part of the high-budget fantasy adventure epic, which is billed as a trilogy, was released on Friday.

It was also made available in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada in addition to Hindi.

The movie brought in 75 crores in worldwide box office receipts on its first day of release. One of the most costly movies ever created in India is "Brahmastra Part One: Shiva," which reportedly had a huge budget of over 400 crore.

Brahmastra, behind KGF 2, had the second-highest opening day following the pandemic, according to BoxofficeIndia.com.

"'Brahmastra Part One: Shiva' delivered a massive opening day of Rs. 75 crore (GBOC), sparking celebrations around the country, the film business, theatre owners, and spectators, with the weekend total projected to be enormous!" according to a memo distributed by Star Studios and Dharma Productions, two production companies.

While the film's plot and dialogue have drawn mixed reviews from critics, many have complimented filmmaker Ayan Mukerji's epic 'Astraverse' vision, which combines Hindu mythology with fantasy elements and is comparable to VFX-heavy Hollywood superhero film series.

Mukerji posted a brief thank-you statement on Instagram following the disclosure of the box office receipts.

"Thankfulness, excitement. Hope. We would like to extend a sincere appreciation to everyone who saw Brahmastra in theatres and contributed to the lively and dynamic culture of moviegoing. I'm looking forward to the coming days "The film was written.
