Vivo V25 Pro Review – An Ultrawide Camera With A 64MP Rear & 32MP Front Camera Option

Introduction

The company's "mid-range," youthful, and innovative series is Vivo's V line. We reviewed both the V23 and the V23 Pro at the beginning of this year and were very happy with both. A few short months later, Vivo is already shifting to the V25 series and bypassing a number. The V25 Pro is here for review today. It is comparable to the V23 Pro, at least conceptually. It is specifically designed with an amazing camera configuration that frequently outperforms its price range and a strong emphasis on a fantastic selfie experience for a creative demographic.

The V25 Pro now includes a lower-resolution 64MP, SAMSUNG GW1 sensor with EIS and new for this year, OIS, compared to the prior generation. A 12MP camera has also been added to the ultrawide camera.

Regarding the selfie camera, vivo made the decision to do away with the second ultrawide camera in favour of a single 32MP Samsung GD2 camera. We'll have to wait and see if it genuinely represents an improvement over the twin selfie camera configuration on the vivo V23 Pro, but at the very least, the autofocus capability is still available. Because of this, the V25 Pro is a compelling proposition for a younger generation of social media users and artists.

The new MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor, which is a tiny update of the Dimensity 1200 and which we are anxious to try for ourselves, is one of the minor specs upgrades that the V25 Pro receives in comparison to its predecessor. Additionally, the V25 Pro now has a larger battery and faster charging as well as a faster 120Hz display.

Unboxing

Before exporting the V25 Pro further, we should examine its retail packaging. Two pieces of robust cardboard are used to ship the vivo V25. On the inside, there is a plastic cradle to hold the phone, and the outside is fairly durable. Everything is absolutely secure.

One of vivo's 80W FlashCharge chargers is included with the V25 Pro when purchased. The capacity of the aforementioned charger won't be fully utilised by the phone; instead, it will use its highest output specifications of 11V@6A-66W. That's actually not too bad. In the kit is a reliable USB Tyle-A to Type-C cable. Both are non-standard and necessary to charge the V25 Pro at maximum speed, thus you should keep track of them both.

The V25 Pro's accessory package was quite generous on the part of Vivo. In the box, you'll find a lovely, soft, but substantial transparent TPU case. A set of earbuds with a built-in microphone is also included. The latter initially caught us off guard because they have a 3.5mm jack, which the vivo V25 does not have. But as I dug around in the box a little more, I found a Type-C to 3.5mm dongle. Overall, a really luxurious accessory set by contemporary standards.
